Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the TELORA website and voice services, why we process it, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is PATCHCABLES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05000743, trading as TELORA. Our registered office is M217 Cardiff Bay Business Centre, Forgeside Close, Cardiff, CF24 5FA, United Kingdom.
Privacy enquiries and data-subject requests can be sent to info@telora.cc or in writing to the registered office above.
Personal data we process
Account and contact data: name, business email, telephone number, company name, country, billing details and the content of enquiries you send us.
Service data: call metadata (call detail records) generated when traffic passes over our network, including originating and destination numbers, timestamps, duration, routing decisions, disposition codes and rated cost. We do not record call audio unless a recording service is expressly enabled by you, in which case you are the controller of that content and we act as your processor.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, authentication events, API request logs and control-centre activity logs.
Purposes and lawful bases
Providing the service — routing calls, provisioning numbers, operating the control centre and API. Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into one.
Billing, rating and collections. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in recovering sums due.
Network quality, capacity planning, fault investigation and security. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable network, balanced against your rights.
Fraud prevention and abuse handling, including detection of artificially inflated traffic and compromised credentials. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligation.
Compliance with obligations that apply to communications providers, including responding to lawful requests from competent authorities and retaining records where the law requires it. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Marketing communications about our services. Lawful basis: consent, or legitimate interests in the case of existing business customers. You can opt out at any time.
Retention
Call metadata is retained for as long as needed to support billing, dispute resolution, fraud investigation and any applicable regulatory retention obligation, after which it is deleted or irreversibly aggregated for statistical use.
Account and contact data is retained for the life of the customer relationship and for the period afterwards required by accounting and limitation rules.
Technical and security logs are retained for a shorter operational period consistent with their purpose.
Recipients
Interconnected carriers and numbering partners, to the extent necessary to complete calls, deliver signalling and allocate or port numbers. Signalling information such as the calling and called number is inherently passed on in order to place a call.
Service providers acting as processors on our behalf, including hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, support tooling and payment processing, each bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Competent authorities, regulators or courts where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Because voice traffic is international, personal data may be transferred outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area — for example to a terminating carrier in the destination country, or to a service provider hosted elsewhere.
Where we transfer personal data to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards: the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum for transfers from the UK, and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA, together with additional technical and organisational measures where required.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to receive certain data in a portable format.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@telora.cc. We will respond within one month, and may ask for information to verify your identity.
If your personal data was provided to us by a customer who uses our services (for example your own telephony provider or employer), that customer is the controller and we act as their processor. In that case we will forward your request to them.
Complaints
If you are in the United Kingdom you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the European Economic Area you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first, so please contact us before raising a complaint.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the site and control centre to function, such as session and security cookies.
Any analytics or preference cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent through your browser settings at any time.
Security
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel, authenticated and logged. Data in transit is encrypted, credentials and API keys are scoped per account, and administrative access follows least privilege.
You remain responsible for securing your own SIP endpoints, control-centre logins and API keys. Please report suspected compromise to us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be notified to account holders.
